Never knowingly sentient

Me, me, me

I enjoy Jason Calacanis. I guess it’s his downright cheek which makes him entertaining. If you view everything he does in terms of self promotion and publicity then it all makes perfect sense.

It’s Hammer time!

Russell Brand and Morrissey

Excellent interview between Russell Brand and Morrissey which at times is difficult to discern who’s interviewing who.

Where is the UK’s Rocketboom?

Where indeed? While I admire and respect Rocketboom as one of the web's innovators helping bring about the reinvention of media, I just don't find it particularly funny. Amanda Congdon may be a skilled actress (I have no idea having never seen her act but I'll give her the benefit of the doubt) but she's no comedienne.

Who needs experts

UPDATE: For 'cab driver' read 'IT job applicant'.  Not such a great story after all.

The best thing about the BBC mistakenly interviewing an internet expert's cab driver instead of the expert was that if you weren't aware of the fact you wouldn't know there was anything wrong. It makes The Day Today (first broadcast in 1994) look even more prescient.

An American abroad

This is hilarious. Mike 'TechCrunch' Arrington does Spain the hard way.

The difference between cats and dogs
